REDFIELD PLACE
Where I Grew Up in the 60's
Located in the Mt. Washington suburb of Cincinnati, OH
As I think of growing up in the 60's, many images creep into my sometimes wandering and aging mind. I think of Eastern Hills and the Fun Fair, massive amounts of candy collected from two nights of trick-or-treating, the "vacant lot", Locust Grove Country Club, the summer Olympics, the basketball court, kick the can and hide and go seek (Tieke's telephone pole), Poop View, THE dogfight (Prince against Socks), the sled trail, the sprinkler. I bet you remember those items and much more. I created this website to revisit some of those memories -- many that I have forgotten but more that I so fondly remember.
Please tell others you keep in touch with about this site. Send me pictures and e-mails and I will add to the site as time goes by. Maybe we weren't unique, but based on how kids grow up today, I know we were fortunate to all be raised on Redfield Place.
